じゃがいもとにんじん。
Good evening.
I came to Tokyo,
and it has been about ten days.
I am already
halfway through my stay.
I bought potatoes
and carrots,
and heated them
in the microwave.
A small,
humble dinner.
A piece of bread,
a little burnt,
with marmalade jam.
Yogurt,
and some deli food
from the supermarket.
The fear
of being locked out
by the auto-lock door.
A night alone.
So scared,
so very scared.
Holding my amulet
in my arms,
I cried.
But still,
I made myself
a meal.
In Tokyo,
I am learning
what it means
to live.
I am learning
how to survive.
I don’t know yet
what I will do
with what I learn.
But for now,
I am simply
learning.
On March 17,
after applying
for a job as a fortune teller,
I realized
that financially
I could not live on that alone.
So, measuring things
by the scale of reality,
I decided
to return to Kagawa.
Well,
life is
more or less
like this.
But still,
I am learning
how to live.
Tomorrow,
I hope to feel better.
And to everyone,
please
take care
and stay well.
take care
and stay well.
